Automatic double head chamfering machine is a device used for processing objects with accurate and unchanged centerlines of the cutter head.

The automatic double head chamfering machine is a specialized equipment used for chamfering and end face finishing of metal tubes and rods. Its core function is to maintain the accuracy and consistency of the processed object and the centerline of the cutter head. This equipment is mainly used in the finishing process of steel enterprises, as well as in industries such as steel structures, boilers and pressure vessels, shipbuilding, etc. It can solve the problems of flash, burrs, and swelling caused by bar cutting.


The equipment adopts a linkage design between the clamping mold and the cutting disc, and achieves efficient production through a vibration disc automatic feeding system. It is equipped with a position sensor to detect the feed rate to ensure machining accuracy. The cutterhead supports angle and size adjustment, and can complete external angle, internal angle, and end face processing in one go, with a processing speed of 3-4 seconds per piece. The transmission system adopts styrene butadiene rubber wheel set, combined with floating rubber wheel design to avoid workpiece jamming, and supports non-standard customization and expansion. Realize automatic advance and retreat knife operation, reduce labor intensity and improve processing stability.


The working process of the double headed chamfering machine consists of a material divider, alignment roller and unloading mechanism, active mechanism, steel picking hook, collection tank, grinding head machine, alignment positioning plate, and clamping device.

The double headed chamfering machine will be hung on the bulk material platform by the chamfering double heads, and the blocking device at the inclined track will block the double heads. The automatic chamfering machine will use the distributor to push the double heads into the alignment roller track one by one, and the alignment roller track will align the double heads towards the chamfering end. The double headed chamfering machine will slide down along the inclined track and enter the friction wheel of the main drive through the alignment positioning plate. The clamping device will lift and press the workpiece, start the main drive shaft to rotate it, and feed it into the grinding machine to start chamfering. After chamfering is completed, the clamping device will be lowered, and the steel hook will support the workpiece onto the inclined track. Another set of blocking and distributing devices will divide the double heads one by one into the next set of alignment roller tracks, and align them in the opposite direction. The automatic chamfering machine chamfers the other end, and the last set of steel hooks sends the finished product into the collection tank.
