What is a stone cutting machine and its working principle
Stone cutting machine is a mechanical equipment specially used for cutting stone, which is mainly composed of a cutting knife group, a stone conveying platform, a positioning guide plate and a frame. The cutting knife group is fixed on the upper part of the stone conveying platform and placed on the frame. The cutting tool is fixed on the knife wheel shaft, and the cutting tool is driven by the motor drive belt to cut.
The working principles of stone cutting machines mainly include the following:
1. Plasma cutting: The heat of the high-temperature plasma arc is used to locally melt (and evaporate) the metal at the incision of the workpiece, and the momentum of the high-speed plasma is used to remove the molten metal to form an incision. This method is suitable for cutting metals with small thickness, especially for non-ferrous metals (such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, and nickel). Its main advantages are fast cutting speed, smooth cutting surface, small thermal deformation, and almost no heat-affected zone.
2. Laser cutting: The stone laser cutting machine adopts precision screw transmission technology, combined with a professional high-precision laser head, and the laser output power is stable, which can accurately cut small pieces of stone of various thicknesses. This method is suitable for small stones with a thickness of 1-10mm, such as jade slabs, pebbles, agate stones, etc.
